Glenda Barbara Goldlist

Passed on June 12, 2022

In loving memory of the lifetime of adventure, love, and kindness of Glenda Goldlist. Beloved daughter to the late Max and Molly Goldlist, whom she loved deeply and cared for with true selflessness. Wonderful and supportive big sister to Jay Goldlist, and Clifford (Leslie) Goldlist. Nurturing aunt of and second mother to Ashley, Haley, and Shayla Goldlist, who she adored above all. Treasured companion and world traveler of over 40 years with Alan Lederman of Hollywood, Florida. Beloved niece to the late George and Kay Goldlist, Dr. Erving and Tippi Kirsh, and Sally Cantor. Cherished cousin to Rodeen (Steven) Stein, with whom she shared a lifetime of experiences, Harley (Sandi), Jeff, the late Lawrie, and Tina Goldlist; Nate and Rochelle (Kim) Cantor; Darryl, Lonnie (Robyn) and Evan (Joanne) Kirsh; Alana (Neil) Moshe and Lauren Stein.

Glenda was a most generous and kind person, with a zeal for adventure and learning. She never backed down from a challenge – running full marathons across the United States, learning to be a talented artist, and traveling the world. She inherited her wonderful mother’s talents and good taste. Glenda was a sharp attorney after attending law school in London, Ontario and completing her legal degree in Florida where she lived and practiced. She always thought of, and cared for, others before herself. Glenda was independent, observant, and an exemplary role model for her beloved nieces and younger cousins. She positively changed the lives of so many. Her passing leaves a tremendous void that can never be filled.

We will miss you every day.

We love you forever.
