Peacefully at home after a lengthy illness, on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Loving wife of the late Feivel for seventy-two years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Morris and Miriam Grunzeweig, Stan and Fay Grunzeweig. Cherished Bubby of Naomi Grunzeweig and Jamie Mayerovitch, Ari Grunzeweig and Heather Huff, Noah Grunzeweig; Jesse, and Shonna Grunzeweig. Proud great-grandmother of Killian, and Eli. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Frania and the late Mike Faywlowicz; and sister-in-law of the late Chana and the late Abraham Hermelin, the late Helen and the late Isaac Katz, and the late Eshai.  Hanka will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge with sincere gratitude Drs. David R. Shahin and Mark Karanofsky for their compassionate care. Special thanks to Trisha Felgar of the Cummings Centre for Seniors and to Hanka’s caregivers Mila, Mary, Rachel, Anastasia, Josette, Charlita, and Gloria for their unwavering devotion and for giving her a life of quality and dignity.
