Rotman, Harold. Passed away peacefully on March 11, 2021. Beloved husband of Rivka. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Debby and Barry Kruger, Sheldon and Brenlee Rotman, and Gary and Cheryl Rotman. Cherished grandfather of Brett (Mariana), Blair (fiancée Ryan), Mallory (Travis), Richard, Justin, and Alexa. Proud great-grandfather of Jake and Thea. Predeceased by his brother who survived the Holocaust, Bill Rotman. He always remembered and spoke of his three brothers and large family who perished in Holocaust. Memorial donations may be made to the Association for Soldiers of Israel 416-783-3053.

Rotman family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of working at Bathurst Manor Food Centre and having to walk all the way around the deli counter (on the customer side) to serve customers deli and then cheese (with a stop to wash my hands in between).

My family and I were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Harold Rotman. He will always be remembered for his strength of character, love of family, passion for knowledge, and his appreciation for his fellow man. He was indeed a special person, that endured the “camps”, but would always have positive stories, despite the “darkness” he went through and it was that sense of divinity, humor, and storytelling ability, that made us all better individuals.
