COHEN, Harriet (nee Solomon) – Passed away peacefully at Margaret Bahen Hospice on Friday, December 1, 2017, after a courageous fight with cancer. Beloved daughter of David and Ruth Solomon, and daughter-in-law of the late Daniel and Louise Cohen. Devoted wife of over 41 years to Mike Cohen.  Loving mother and mother-in-law to Alisa and Neil Patel, Deena and Sammy Biback, and Jennifer Cohen. Cherished grandmother to Jacob and Noah Biback. Dear sister and sister-in-law to her twin brother Philip and Risa Solomon, Sandra Solomon, David and Leah Cohen, and Sam and Sophie Cohen.

Treasured aunt to nieces and nephews Gary and Alisa Cohen, Steve and Tracey Cohen, David and Michelle Feldman, Mark and Carly Cohen, Daniel and Rose Cohen, Jason Cohen and Alix Herber, Mitch Cohen and Jeffrey Abrams, Richard Solomon, Alan Solomon, Carly Goodman, Jennifer Goodman, Amy Goodman, Alexandra Connerty, and Daniel Connerty.

Lovingly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. Harriet will be forever in our hearts, and greatly missed by all her family, friends, and colleagues. She was a dedicated friend to all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the diligent staff at Sunnybrook Hospital and Odette Cancer Centre, Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, Central LHIN Palliative Care Network, and Margaret Bahen Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.

 Funeral to take place at Steeles Memorial Chapel on Sunday, December 3rd at 10:30am. Interment at Pardes Chaim Cemetery. Shiva visits following the funeral service at 1201 Steeles Avenue West, Apt. #1202 (Bathurst & Steeles). Shiva times Sunday-Thursday 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm. Evening services Sunday-Thursday at 7:00pm.
