We at Bikur Cholim were saddened to hear of the passing of Harry. We know that all of you were at his side and he was never alone even for a few minutes. He was very well liked and respected by everyone in the Toronto community. May he be a meilitz yosher for the family and may hashem give you all the koach to get through this difficult time

We originally knew Sally as a friend from childhood, but we considered Harry a good friend too. Always warm and friendly, we enjoyed our trip to China together and celebrated many simchas and get-togethers with them both. We know he was a big ba'al tzedaka without a lot of fanfare. We are deeply saddened by the news of his passing. Our deepest condolences to Gita, Jeremy. Aaron, Michal and their spouses, as well as to his brothers. המקום ינחם אתכם בתוך שאר אבלי ציון וירושלים

Harry and I became friends through Phil Kurtz, z'l , in our small group of dati 'kids' who met on Shabbat at Burnside Shul in the 1950's. Our spouses Sally z'l and Harold z'l joined in our friendship in both Toronto and Israel. Harold and I chose to live in warm Eilat, but occasionally drove to Yerushalayim, and were welcomed at their B&B. May all the Weitz family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem

I am so saddened to hear of this. I got to know Harry as part of a learning chaburah mornings at Clanton Park Shul. I was always impressed by his devotion to his wife and family, his deep faith, erudition, insight, kindness, and sense of humour. A very special man who will be missed.

Sally was a cousin of my husband,"Yiddele"who predeceased Harry by just over a month, and they and you were an integral part of his early years in Canada. He always spoke of them and you with great affection. I always enjoyed our visits to you. Harry embodied strong family values and integrity. May you be comforted.
