Harvey Silver died suddenly but peacefully, (“popped his clogs” as he would say) on Tuesday Jan 28, 2020 (b. May 2, 1932).
He was predeceased by his devoted wife, Amira. He will be remembered fondly by his children, Lorraine and Steve Landau, Modya Silver and Orit Freedman, Melanie Silver and Hywel Brazel, their mother Rochelle Henderson; and Rowena and Robert Bridson, as well as his thirteen grandchildren Sierra, Max, Tamar, Shanée Daniel, Rachel, Jonathan, Ma’ayan, Elliot, Tiferet, Arthur, Eleanor and Neshama.
Many thanks to Rabbi Yosef Gansburg, Chabad, and all of the staff at the Weinberg Residence in Vancouver.
Harvey lived life on his own terms. He served in the British Army in Egypt and Libya. He was the community butcher in Sheffield, England and moved to Canada in 1975 to give his family new opportunities. He had great faith in Gd and lived life with no regrets.
May his neshama have an aliyah.
