Dr. Harvey Irwin Taub, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 12th, 2024, in his hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Born on September 24th, 1939, Harvey was a man of great warmth, compassion, and unwavering love for his family and friends.

Harvey’s love story with his late wife, Judy Taub z”l, was one of deep devotion and partnership. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family, including his brother, Rabbi Baruch Taub, Judy Taub z”l, and Malkah Taub, as well as his children Stuart Taub, Bonnie Marks and Stephen Marks, and Matthew and Felicia Taub. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren, Samantha and Justin Marks, and Ryan, Dylan, and Logan Taub.

Beyond his roles as a dedicated family man, Harvey was an accomplished periodontist, known for his skill and dedication to his craft. His patients often spoke of his gentle touch and caring nature, which endeared him to all who crossed his path. His commitment to excellence and compassion in his profession left an indelible mark on those he served.

Harvey’s love for life extended beyond his work, as he was an avid golfer and a connoisseur of fine wines. His passion for travel allowed him to explore the world and create lasting memories with his loved ones. His zest for life and adventurous spirit were truly inspiring to all who knew him.

Harvey will be remembered not only for his professional achievements and hobbies but also for his unwavering loyalty and friendship. He was a pillar of strength and support for those around him, always ready to lend an ear or offer a helping hand. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.

The funeral service to honor Harvey’s life will be held on Sunday, July 14th, 2024, at 11 am at Pardes Shalom, graveside, Beth David Congregation section, followed by a Shiva at 298 Ridley Blvd. Toronto. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

In his passing, the world has lost a remarkable man, but his memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Harvey’s love, laughter, and wisdom will continue to guide and uplift his family and friends, ensuring that his spirit lives on for generations to come.
