The family will be holding a private visitation and chapel service on Sunday prior to the burial. The burial service is open to the public and all funeral attendees should go directly to Pardes Chaim Cemetery for 2:00 p.m. 

Hedy Daniels passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 26, 2026, after a brief illness in her 85th year.

Born on November 27, 1941 in Toronto, Hedy was a beloved mother of Mark (Tracy) Daniels & Kevin Daniels, Bubbie of six granddaughters Jessika, Kayla, Sydney, Abby, Lily & Gabi Daniels, and great-granddaughter Journee Lewis. Loving sister of Bernice & Honey and is held in the hearts of her beloved family.

Hedy touched countless lives with her warmth, quick wit, and vibrant spirit. She was a devoted friend who had a remarkable gift for connecting with others. Her love of conversation and her naturally social nature made everyone feel welcomed and seen.

“Death is nothing at all, I have only slipped away. Laugh as we always laughed, think of me. All is well, only better. We will be together again, I will be there with open arms to lead you.”

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Extendicare Bayview, whose kindness and attentive care brought comfort to Hedy for so many years.
