With Helen’s hopeful spirit and unwavering determination, she was able to persevere through many life tragedies, having lived through the horrors of the Holocaust where she lost her parents, and later suffering the loss of her adoring husband and daughter. Through everything, her love of life, family and community was never diminished.
Helen was full of life and beloved by all those around her. She made strong connections everywhere she went and touched many people’s lives.
Sharp and independent until the end, Helen will be remembered for her incredible warmth, resiliency, wisdom and strength of character.
