Henri was absolutely one of Patrick and my favourite people (not to mention Olivia). To know him was to love him and we feel so lucky to have gotten a chance to know him. Our world has been shattered by this tremendous loss to my husband and his family. Henri will always be my surrogate father who taught me everything from cooking and fishing, to religion and politics. There was nothing he didn't know, and because of that, he was always on my speed dial. He was the single most engaging and enigmatic person I have ever known. And, his gift was his ability to make anyone feel like a priority, a part of his family. To have known Henri, was to have known a true mensch. Thank you for letting me bear witness to your unconditional and fierce love and for getting to share in that with your family. With love and light, your daughter-in-law.

Monique and family I was extremely sadden to just hear of Henri's passing, what a shock. I remember him as a very big hearted kind man, great sense of humour, loyal and always a good friend to me. I am at a loss for words and my heart aches for you.
