Hersh Schifman passed away peacefully on July 24th, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved partner of Iren, loving and devoted father and father in-law to Debra, David, Benjamin, Harry, Eve and Aubrey. Proud grandfather of Ayden, Jacob, Noah, Eleanor, Maya, Miles, and Leah, and brother of Libi, and Zoltan and Daniela. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service will be held on July 26th, 2019 at 1pm at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave West, Thornhill. Interment to follow at Pardes Chaim Cemetery, community section. Memorial donations may be made to Princess Margaret Hospital, or the cancer charity of your choice. Our lives are diminished by his absence.
