It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Howard Deverett z”l on July 1, 2021.

Beloved family members, Millie, Michael & Sally, Larry & Miriam, Jeffrey & Debbie, Melanie & Moshe, Robyn & Mike, Jay, Jamie, Ben, Devorah & Shlomie, Adam, Leah & Sammy, David, Leora, Sam and Max, and great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to Drs. David Birbrager, Shaul Tarek, and Liz Amos, Nurse Samantha Hebert, and Caregivers Rosanna Tortogo, Gillian Downes and Tomas Lapid.

We go back to 1953 when he was the drummer for Earl Parnes & my vocal groupe The Hi-lites were singing at Oakdale's opening Dance. he was a terrific guy! and a great smile. Then into the 60"s I heard that he married my teen crush Millie. Lucky guy!! May his memory be a blessing to you & your family.

My deepest sympathies for your loss I can't express the indelible imprint Howie made on my life. His support of my music and writing inspired me to keep writing. Howie paid to get my first music composition professionally charted and I will never forget that. It was the music and the Deverett family support that led to some of my greatest memories with the boys, writing plays wedding songs and at the center point of all of it were Millie and Howie. You will be very missed.
