The family of Howard Atin are heart-broken of his passing on Monday, September 5, 2022 at the Baycrest Apotex.  Husband of the late Betty (Abramovich).  Beloved father and father-in-law of Heather Resnick (Sheldon), Marshall Atin, and Joanne Jacobs-Kolissanis (George).  Father-in-law to Vanessa Atin, and Dahl Atin.  Loving grandfather to Jordan Resnick (Megan) and Avaly Resnick, Aaron Atin (Sandrine), Leanne Martin (Brent), Desi Atin, and Heidi Atin (Dwight).  Great-grandfather to Locke and Kashia Martin, Malakai Atin.  Brother of Joan Shanker (the late Norman).  Brother-in-law of Abie Berger and the late Lily.

Howard was a hard-working and proud postman for 30 years.  Walking was his medicine.  His passion was music and he loved to sing and play the clarinet.  He was a great dancer too!  He loved Judaism; teaching boys and girls their Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.  Our deepest gratitude to Dr. Malach, Dr. Yu, Dr. Cuppage and the extended staff of Baycrest Apotex 6 as well as Gigi for their constant dedication to Howie’s well-being.  A graveside service will take place at Pardes Shalom Cemetery 10953 Dufferin St., Beth David section on Wednesday, September 7 at 1:00 p.m.  Shiva will be observed privately.  Donations in Howie’s memory may be made to Fearnoage.com (c/o Baycrest Foundation) 416-785-2875 Monday to Friday 9-5.
