With sadness, we announce the passing of Ina Lofsky on Wednesday July 31, 2024, the devoted
wife of Dr. Stanley Lofsky. Ina was a loving mother to Arthur Lofsky, Dr. Robert Lofsky and Laura
Incitti and loving Bubby to Isabella and Natalie Lofsky. Ina was a devoted daughter of the late
Shirley and Arthur Gertzbein; daughter-in-law to the late Morris and Ethel Lofsky; devoted twin
sister to the late Anita Steiner; sister to Dr. Stanley Gertzbein and wife Maryanne; sister to her
late brother Norman Baine and late wife Marilyn; sister to the late Howard Baine and wife
Marian; sister-in-law to the late Simcha Lofsky and late wife Shaindy; sister-in-law to Allan
Lofsky and wife Myrna; sister-in-law to Roz Lofsky.
Ina had many pleasures in life despite recurrent illnesses. She was an expert knitter who made
wonderful sweaters for new babies, family and friends. She also would knit countless items for
Streetknit, a charity devoted to clothing the homeless. Ina’s greatest joys were her children and
grandchildren and revelling in their achievements.
