Isaac Osiel

I am terribly saddened to hear about Isaac's passing. May he rest in peace and my condolences to the Osiel family

Learning about Isaac’s untimely demise has shook me to the core. I will miss the time I got to spend with him over a lifetime; talking every chance we got about our community. We had a very unique bond and he better than anyone understood the frustration that comes with the duty of service. I miss him already and my heart goes out to his wonderful mother who has always been there to lend a helping hand throughout some of the most special moments of our lives. A good soul that will undoubtedly live on and know nothing but peace, love and tranquility forever and always.

Isaac was a caring and kind soul. As a member of the Board of Directors of Petah Tikva, for several years, he worked passionately on every aspect of the synagogue, always looking out for new improvements. On a personal level he always met us with a warm smile and a hug. Our hearts go out to his mother and siblings. Rest in peace my friend.

I am so sorry to hear about Isaac's passing. He was a sweet, loving and caring human being and a highly committed Jewish community member. Isaac and I lived in the same building. He was there whenever I needed him for my computer maintenance or just to schmooze. But I wasn't the only one he cared about in our building and the area. In fact, Isaac's existence was predicated on helping others, young and old. We used to talk about the elderly in our neighborhood, whom he would tend to - helping them pay their bills and manage their domestic environment. But mostly Isaac would listen to people with great focus and attention. There are very few people, in particular of his age group, who are so conscious of the needs of others. And Isaac was passionate about his Judaism. I believe one of his last projects was the creation of a siddur. He loved to tell me about it and was so excited to get it published. Rest in peace, dear Isaac, dear friend. You did well on this earth and will be missed by so many, especially those whom you tended to. Rest in peace dear Isaac and thank you for coming our way. May God watch over your mother, siblings, nieces and nephews and all those who adored you. I hope and pray your family only has smachot all the days of their lives.
