Isadore Lanys passed away peacefully on March 3, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Sandra Lanys. Son of the late Sarah and Nechamia Lanys. Father of Steven, Julie Jordan, Ritchie, and David and Joy. Loving grandfather of Lauren and Paul Rivietz, Jamie, Jordan, Morgan, Lauren, Samantha and Ari. Cherished great-grandfather of Harper and Yale Rivietz. Brother to the late Lou, brother in law to Yetta Lanys, brother to late Marty and Ruth Lanys, Brother to Dorothy and the late Milton Finkelstein, brother to Syd and Vicki Lanys and brother in law to Mel Buksner. Dear Steven, Julie and the Lanys family I can't begin to tell you all my memories of Izzy, from caddying for him while tearing up the golf course at the Richmond Hill Golf and Country Club with his brother's to travelling to Israel to have my Bar Mitzvah with Steven in Jerusalem at the Western Wall. He was a good friend to my father Irving and also a good friend to the Pancer Family. RIP Izzy. You were an original just like my father, now you can both kibbitz together again.
