It is with great sadness that we share the news that Izu Soil, at the age of 96, has peacefully passed on to be reunited with his beloved daughter, Fay. He leaves behind his beloved Sophie, two loving children, Terry and Sid, son-in-law Howie, daughter-in-law Robin and son-in-law Mark. Along with his wonderful grandchildren, Laurie, Stefanie, Jackie, Alex, Riley, Adam, Rebecca, and Ethan, and their partners Kevin, Alex, Christian, Rebecca, and Cameron. Izu was also blessed with great-grandchildren Lilly, Jake, Joey, Axel, Abby, Mason, and Noah, with another little one soon to arrive who will surely grow up hearing stories of the man who loved his family above all else.

Izu’s positivity, strength, humour and zest for life touched everyone—from family to friends—creating a bond of love that will live on forever. Izu loved Sophie and his family above all else. He was unforgettable and will be greatly missed; his memory will continue to bring sunshine and joy to our lives.
