BENEZRA, Jacques – Peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Baycrest Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. It is with deep sorrow in our hearts that we announce the passing of our dear father, grandfather, husband, and brother. Jacques was the beloved husband of Florence Benezra for 59 years. He will always be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his children, Liz Pal, Natalie Waldman and son-in-law Leonard Waldman. He was a devoted brother and brother-in-law to his sisters Julie Albergel and her late husband Jacques Albergel, Marie Waknine and her late husband Simon Waknine, his brother Joseph Benezra and sister-in-law Claire Benezra, and his brother Elie Benezra. Jacques held a very special place in the hearts of his adoring grandchildren who lovingly called him “Pepe”. He will be greatly missed by Sarah, Adam, Raquel and Jordan, Nicole, and Danielle, along with his many nieces and nephews. Jacques was a sweet, gentle, sensitive, loving and generous soul, who will be dearly and forever missed, by his close friends and extended family.
