Above all else, Janice was defined by her devotion to her family.  To her children and their spouses, Ryan and Angele, Daniella and Gabe, Kim and Daniel, Janice was selfless, nurturing, and loving. Their happiness and well-being was her utmost priority.  She was a devoted and fully involved “Gaga” to her grandchildren Matthew, Noa, Hazel, Russell and Zoey. Her grandchildren adored her. Zoey’s little sibling, not yet born, will learn all about his wonderful Gaga.  Granny Renee, her mother, was the recipient of her abundant and generous love and support.  Her siblings, Linda, Gary and Tessa and their spouses Steve, Fiona and Steven loved her for her generous spirit, her mischievous sense of humor and her immensely kind heart.  Janice had so many friends and all knew she was full of warmth and compassion, a loyal and devoted friend.

Janice chose the profession of Speech Therapy so that she could truly make a difference in people’s lives. Her patients uniformly appreciated her devotion and skill.

Janice was predeceased by her father Robbie Lifman and her beloved husband Ian.  Janice and Ian were an inseparable, deeply connected couple whose love for each other and for their children, grandchildren and families knew no bounds.  Janice and Ian embraced their Jewish heritage with pride and commitment and together instilled values of compassion and community in all aspects of their lives.

Janice will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
