With profound sadness, the family of Jean Chase announces her passing at the tender age of 92.

As a child of The Holocaust, she suffered unimaginable hardship and loss, yet somehow emerged with a great resilience, and the ability to love deeply, cherish her family and friends, and build a life both in Israel and Canada with her late husband Bill.

She was eternally grateful for all she had, and leaves behind her family to mourn and celebrate her life.

She will be greatly missed by her children Shirley and Jimmy, and Hedy and the late Bill, her grandchildren Lia (Mike), Zoe (Greg), Alex, Jodi, and Genna, and her great-grandchildren Willie, Teddy, Daniel, Alessia, and Reena.

We will all remember her for her incredible kindness, thoughtfulness, and her ability to make friends wherever she went.
