Jean Eugen passed away at age 90.  He lived a difficult, challenging life, but he made it beautiful, comfortable and supportive for everyone he loved.  He was full of warmth, happiness, loyalty and nothing but a tireless, selfless desire to do good for everyone else.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 63 years, Rodica, and his two children, Cristina and Daniel, who together have more love for their father than can be measured.  They are blessed to have had such a husband and father.

He had a passion for art, music, history, geography, and languages (of which he spoke seven…though he said eight).  He had a career spanning over 55 years across two continents as a Graphic Designer, having started two successful businesses in Canada and the U.S. after emigrating from Romania.  In addition to his businesses, he also taught Medical Illustration at University of Toronto and Graphic Design at the Ontario Collage of Art and Design.  He has left a legacy of appreciative students.

He was accomplished in his field as demonstrated through numerous awards he received throughout Europe and Canada.  His work has been published in numerous countries, but he himself was also recognized in numerous books, compendiums, periodicals and more.

Even after his “retirement”, he continued to teach, but he focused more of his time on his family and his many hobbies.

No words will ever suffice to appreciate him.  His family and friends across the world will forever feel his absence, but will find some measure of comfort from his undying love and dedication to be there for them. They wish him to find rest, happiness, peace, and everything and everyone he loved and lost.
