Jeffry Mervin Copland unexpectedly passed away on May 26, 2025. Born September 26, 1942 he is survived by his loving wife, Carol, his daughter, Melanie and his son, Steven.  

Jeffry was married to Carol for 61 years. Their hands held each other’s all of this time.

Jeffry worked in his family’s dry cleaning business in Ottawa. He continued to work in the business in Mississauga.

As a founder of Solel Congregation in Mississauga, he led many to learn and practice Judaism.
