Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, March 8, 2021. Most beloved husband of the late Baabie Nebel, the love of his life. Cherished father and father in law of Ruthi and Cary Silber and Sandy and Philip Gennis. Devoted grandfather to David and Alana, Eric and Leah, Lauren and Aaron, Ryan and Kaylie, Neil and Ashley. Proud Super Zaidie to Ethan, Ashley, Jack, Naomi, Sam, Jonah, Ben and Addy. Dear brother and brother in law of the late Imre and Ruki Nebel and Irene and Miklos Spiegel, all of Israel. Predeceased by his parents and five siblings who perished in the Holocaust. He will be remembered with love and respect by his nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all who knew him. The family will be forever grateful to Carmen, Clarissa, Genie and Sally for the love and devotion that they have shown as his personal caregivers. John was extremely dedicated to his entire family.
