Sadly, we announce the death of our dear father, Joseph Sugar. Born on May 18th, 1925, in Kielce, Poland, Joe died peacefully of old age at home on Saturday, June 14th, having just celebrated his 100th birthday less than a month ago.  Loving husband to the late Gussie (nee Brass), and father to Stuart (Gina) and Nancy. Devoted brother to the late David Sugar and sister-in-law, Phyllis. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews in the Sugar and Brass families, long-time close friend of the late Bernice Sinukoff. Joe was a true “renaissance man,” whose many and varied accomplishments included his years as a professional French horn player on the Toronto music scene, aero-engine assembly, many years in the hardware business, general jack-of-all-trades handyman and talented, self-taught artist.
