With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joshua Kevin Baker on March 13, 2025. Josh passed away peacefully in his sleep, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and adventure.

Josh was the beloved son of Tom and Abbi Baker, a cherished brother to Benjamin Baker, and a loving grandson of Terri Kushner of Toronto, and Avrom Kushner and Nancy Posnick of Massachusetts. He is predeceased by his grandparents, George and Beverley Baker.

A true adventurer at heart, Josh embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm. From his early days at Associated Hebrew School, through high school at Stephen Lewis, and later completing his firefighter training at Humber College, he formed deep and lasting friendships at every stage. His passion for off-road adventures with his Jeep groups was more than just a pastime—it was a way for him to connect with others and give back to the community he loved.

Josh had an innate sense of justice and an unwavering commitment to standing up for those in need. Whether defending a classmate or offering a helping hand to a stranger, his kindness knew no bounds. If he wasn’t navigating rugged trails in his Jeep, he could be found at the gym or spending time with his closest friends.

Driven, ambitious, and determined, Josh poured his heart into everything he did. As the President of Pro-Pierce and in his role in Sales & Marketing at Inverness, he approached his work with passion and an unyielding dedication to success.

Words cannot begin to express the depth of this loss. Josh touched the lives of so many, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. May his adventurous spirit, generous heart, and unwavering loyalty be remembered always.

In honor of Josh’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
