Dear Brenda and Sheri. Andrea and I are terribly saddened to hear of Judy's passing. We first got to know her through the Zemer Chorale of which she was a founding member. She loved to sing. She always greeted us with the warmest smile whenever we bumped into her at the Shul or at the store. She always spoke glowingly of both of you and her grandchildren. Dear Brenda , Sheri, and extended family, I was so saddened to see this posting! Your mom was a special lady in my life; as you know, my first babysitter, who also tried to teach me to play piano when I was about 5 years old. She was such a friendly person, and I thoroughly enjoying speaking to her whether I ran into her at Beth Emeth, at Earl Bales Park, in malls, or at simchas, my wedding among them, and other family gatherings through the years. Your mom had a life spark built in to her DNA, and was so lively. May you be comforted by your treasured, loving memories of your mother, whose neshama is now reunited with that of your father. Judy and Joe were close friends of my parents, Phil and Esther Skovronek. It was always a pleasure to spend time with them and listen to Judy. She was so bright and articulate and always a smile on her face. I’m sorry to hear of her passing.
