We were all so saddened to hear of Julius's passing. We remember him with such fondness. A real mensch! From the days back when we would run together as a group, to more recent times when we would share a delightful conversation, exchange anecdotes and generally enjoy the company of a wise, warm, friendly, genuine and well grounded gentleman. We will miss him. Our sincerest and heartfelt condolences to the Hirshberg family. Take strength in all the wonderful memories.

After an association and a friendship of more than 30 years, the passing of Jules has left an enormous void. Jules was the ultimate Mensch - smart, funny, generous and so kind-hearted. In all his business dealings, he was trusted and respected, truly a man of the utmost integrity. Affectionately known as "Gucci" in the road running community, he was a character of note with a great sense of humour.
