It is with our heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julius Saltzman on October 8th, 2022.Devoted husband to Leone for 69 years. Loving father to Rhonda, Lorne, Cindi & Lee. Adoring grandfather to Hayley & Mark, Nicole & Eitan, Jordi, Blair, Erin, Jesse & Tanya, and Brooke. Darling great-grandfather to Tory & Wyatt, Mila & Shai, Brayden & Mason, and Jackson.With much love, we celebrate his 96 years of life.

Dear Leone and Family. I am so sorry to hear of Julie's passing. Julie was the best man at my parent's, Nancy and Al Jacobs, wedding in 1952. My father and Julie went to school together and were best friends for many years. My earliest memories of Julie was when my parents took my younger sister Karen and I to his store on Spadina to buy new clothes for the upcoming school year...so exciting for young girls. Julie was always smiling, laughing and willing to offer assistance. In later years, Julie would pick my father up for an afternoon out together. They would drive down to the old neighbourhood and reminisce about the old days of their youth...then grab a cup of coffee and reminisce further. The last time I saw Julie was at my parent's 60th wedding anniversary party. He was a special guest of honour. Lovely memories of such a special man. May he rest in peace...
