Larry Weitzman passed away on Friday, May 28th, 2021. Beloved brother of Oscar Weitzman (Z”L) & Anita Weitzman, Molly Weidman (Z”L) & Solly Weidman (Z”L) and Ellen Amigo, beloved uncle to Peter & Susie Weitzman, Cary & Marilyn Weitzman, Sharlene Weitzman, Leslie & Cathy Weidman, Elliott & Anita Weidman, Stuart Weidman, Deborah Amigo & Ryan McKillop, Rachel & Mark Leaman.

He will be remembered for his quiet, reserved nature and his love of literature, science fiction, mathematics, the sciences, hiking and travel. He will be missed by all that knew him.

A family graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 30th. May his memory be a blessing.

I will miss lunches, walks, conversation about travel, life, religion, investments, psychology, the world, politics. I remember you giving Wendy and me a tour in Tobermory, your visit to the cottage and to Florida, your pragmatic and authentic approach to life. Deepest condolences to the family.

Our deepest condolences for your loss. We have very fond memories of Larry, especially the one where he gave us a surprise visit in Algonquinn Park. We had a very good dinner at the campsite then with great companies. We will miss Larry too. May Larry Rest In Peace. Boon and Lan.

I will miss Larry very much. Larry gave me great tips on finding the best Ontario waterfalls and we did a few day trips together, especially during the fall colours. We tried to outdo each other in finding the best (cheapest) breakfast specials. He would meet me regularly at Starbucks, even though he preferred tea to coffee. He also shared travel ideas and driving routes with me and my wife, and helped me improve my spreadsheet skills. Larry was a kind person with a cool sense of humour. Sincere condolences.

Dear family... Very sad to read about Larry's passing. I first met him when my uncle Solly married my aunt Molly and our families blended together. He was a very sensitive and kind person and will be greatly missed. Love to the family.

Dearest Weidman and Weitzman Families...We are very saddened to learn about Larry’s sudden passing. He was such a kind and caring gentleman. I knew Larry since I was 9 years old. I was a flower girl, along with Ellen, at my Uncle Solly’s wedding to Auntie Molly. May your wonderful memories bring you strength during this difficult time. May he Rest In Peace.
