Burial Service Location: Pardes Chaim Cemetery (11818 Bathurst St., Vaughan) - Community Section

Shiva Details: Friends and family are invited back to the residence immediately following the burial. Shiva visitors are welcome Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening services will be held daily (excluding Friday) at 7:00 p.m.

I first met Lawrie when my friend at the time asked me to watch her friend play basket ball for our High School (which will remain nameless) after classes. He was an excellent athlete which I was not. Our friendship grew and I evolved because of that friendship. Lawrie was always positive and had an excellent sense of humour. He was kind to people and would readily help them if they needed help. I guess he was a Mensch. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
