With great sadness we regret to inform you of the passing of Lilli Adler, wife of Jacob (Jack), z”l. Beloved mother of Michael and Elissa, Jerry and Dina, Pearl and Ron. Beloved Bubby of Daniella, Jonathan, Benjamin and Cecilie, Avi, Adina, and Noam. Beloved great-Bubby of Yitzi and Chani. A fine woman who will be greatly missed.

To Pearl. To Jerry. To Mike. I am so very sorry to hear about the death of your mom. She was one of the loveliest, most gentle, generous and warm hearted people I have ever known. I even knew it and felt that as a kid, and all the more so did I feel it, know it and see it as an adult. It was a joy as a child to grow up as her neighbour and a privilege as an adult to know her in her later years. She is a reminder to me of all the good, all the chesed and all the kindness that exists is in the world, as she practiced all these qualities in abundance. Dear Adler family, I met Lilli in an aquafit class. We exercised in the pool together. She was a lovely lady with beautiful qualities - an ayshet chayil. When it became difficult for her to get to the class, we continued our relationship over the telephone and sometimes over lunch. She kept me up to date with what her grandchildren were doing, loved them and was very proud of them. She loved all her family and I was fortunate to have known her. My deepest sympathy. I would have liked to make a shiva call but can not because of covid.
