Dear Avrom, We were very sorry to hear about your Mom. She must've been a wonderful lady to have raised such a fine son as you. Suzanne & I extend our sincerest condolences to you and the rest of your family and hope that the fond memories you have of her will be a comfort to you at this difficult time. Unfortunately, we are away until the end of Jan. but are with you in spirit and brotherhood. May she rest in peace.

To the family of Mrs. Bobrowsky: I have so many memories of this lady in the many years that have passed since my son was a student at the pre-school at Eitz Chaim. She really loved her work with the pre-school and she had very strong opinions as well. One anecdote that I especially remember was when my son, Yoni, had been in Jr. Kindergarten and not even 4 years old, he had slipped out with the car pool people to be with one of his school friends and when I came to pick up my son in the winter no less...he was nowhere to be found. I was nonplussed and terrified and everyone was running around looking for him. Inside and out..and fortunately, he had his snow suit on but he could have strayed out to Bathurst Street at the Viewmount campus. He was gone and briefly sighted by some grade 8 girls and not seen again until he found his way back into the building and I was out in the playground where he had last been sighted by the parking lot. The sum total of this story is that Mrs. Bobrowsky...looked at me calmly and said...'Well, you know he is a runner' and I was stunned by this comment. Years later, when I had bumped into Mrs. Bobrowsky of blessed memory...she had remember the incident and asked me post bar-mitzvah...' So...how is the runner?'. That expeience and the later encounter is and will be etched into my memory for all time! May you her family be comforted with all the Mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and know no more sorrow.
