Lilly entered my life as a diligent colleague, and to my overwhelming sorrow, she left it as a cherished friend. Over the nearly two decades that I had the privilege of knowing Lilly she left an impression on me that I know will never be paralleled. An impression that was so vibrant, so vivacious and so beautiful. An impression that I wouldn’t know how else to describe, except to describe it as characteristically Lilly. Like no one else I’ve met, Lilly would consistently fill a room with a warm, pleasant and exuberant energy; she was simply contagious. She was truly a rare person to bring so much joy into this life, yet today I suffer the cruel pain of her loss. Her loss is also the loss of a caring daughter, a devoted mother, an adoring grandmother and a loving wife. I will always remember Lilly as beautiful, smart, intelligent, strong-willed, and most of all I will always remember her as a great friend. Still, reflecting on my dear friend has also left me with a deep sense of gratitude for having had the opportunity to have been affected by such a magnanimous human being. Lilly I love you. I am so sorry you are gone. I weep for the life you still had to live, for the life you deserved to live. I will always remember you. I will always miss you. May you rest peacefully, my friend.

My deepest condolences to Lilly's family. I have known Lilly for more than 7 years, having got opportunity to work with her, including some of the challenging situations. Lilly is calm and composed and a source of strength during difficult times. I am going to miss her for sure.
