Louis Mostyn was born December 1, 1932 in Midland, Ontario. He died Friday, December 15th, 2023, fourteen days after his 91st birthday.  He leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years, Honey, as well as his 4 daughters and partners – Karen and Steve, Lynn and Robert, Rhonda and David, and Margot and Darren.  He also leaves behind his brothers, (Stanley z”l), Harold, Murray (and Rhoda), and Alan (and Sheila), and his grandchildren who adored him – Jessica, Nicole, Andrew, Jonah (and Rebecca), Jonathan, Jaclyn, Dylan, Charlie, Jesse, Julia, and Samantha.

Lou built a life filled with family traditions, activities with his kids, celebrations with immediate family as well as many extended family members and friends.  Above all, and at the centre of his life, was his deepest love and most cherished relationship with his wife Honey.

Lou left behind a legacy – a family who adored him; a long career in law that lasted until the age of 90 when he retired; and many friends who love and respect him.  He also leaves with us, his family, the belief that we can achieve anything we set our minds to, and a lifetime of his unwavering love and commitment.

He will be missed by all but will always be in our hearts.
