It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luba Bendavid. She passed away peacefully, on March 23rd. She was a beloved wife to the late Maurice Bendavid, mother to Ethan and Paul. She was a devoted and wonderful grandmother to Jordan, Erin, Dylan, Jamie and Noah. She was a loving mother in law to Julie and Jodi. Luba was the daughter of Rachel and Benny as well as sister to Ilana and Itzik. She will be forever remembered as a pillar of strength in all our lives

To Luba's Family: It is so sad to find out that your Mom has passed. We were friends with your parents from Goldfinch and although we drifted over the years we were in touch the last few years. Your mother was a very attractive person inside and out. She had a good heart and loved all of you dearly. May you hold her memories dear in your hearts to help you through this very difficult time. Ethan, Paul & Family: I have know your Mom since I was a kid. I have had the pleasure of spending lots of time with your Mom whenever Ethan was in town. I always loved talking to Luba, she was warm and very caring. She always treated me like family, including me for dinner regularly and she was a fantastic cook! She was a wonderful mother and Safta. Such heavy hearts. It is with much sadness that I read about her passing. She was a huge help to my husband, and I met her over 50 years ago when she worked for my father. We were just kids.! The Bendavid Family, Luba was an incredibly strong woman, devoted wife, loving mother and proud Bubbie to all her grandchildren. Whenever I saw her she was always positive and smiling even through hardship. Through our many conversations in the past she only wished good for her family, wanted only for them all to be happy and wanted little for herself. So unselfish. I will miss her and am sorry we lost touch over the past few years but I will always remember what a beautiful soul she was. Rest in Peace Luba (Lube).

We are all so heartbroken of the passing of Luba. She was the most selfless woman; kind, caring, devoted to her family who she always put first. She was a warrior who had some tough times but always focused on the bright light. I was lucky to have married into her husbands family & be able to call her my cousin. We had some great times together with lots of laughter and we will miss her. Lisa, Robert, Jakki & Jill.
