We are bereft of our most beloved Malca, a quiet matriarch at our helm who devoted her life to shining out the virtues of humility, grace and loving kindness, inspired by her parents of blessed memory, Mark Abraham Levy and Lillian Levy. She leaves behind Murray, devoted life partner, children Lionel and Leonor (and Samantha), Annette, Susan and Cliff, siblings Judie Berg and Harold Levy, devoted friends, relatives and all those causes for which she worked tirelessly. We are grateful for Cora Vilora and Cherry Pascual, who taught by example, and demonstrated the powerful soul work/bond facilitated by caregiving, inspiring, informing our own service. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave. West, Thornhill. Interment to follow at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park. Shiva will be held at 94 Armour Blvd., Toronto. Shiva visits Sunday following the interment until 8:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Village Shul VST Fund (416) 785-1107.
