Loving mother and mother-in-law of Dr Jerome and Michelle, Ronnie and Honey, and Laura and Norman Erdman. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Reva and Jimmy Sandler. Cherished Bubbie of Ryan, Jordan, Josh, and Alexa. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Ontario at 416-967-5900.

Time of Funeral: 2:30 PM

Memorial Service Location: Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave W, Thornhill, Chapel service.

Burial Service Location: Pardes Shalom Cemetery, 10953 Dufferin St., Old Adath Israel Synagogue section

Shiva Details: 1 Clark Ave., W., #1903, Thornhill. Family and friends are welcome Wednesday and Thursday from 6-9 pm. Evening services at 7:30 p.m.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the entire Edelstien family. I first met Malka when she came to Canada, from Israel. She came as a young adult with her parents and sister Reva, and were one of the few surviving families on my mothers side. I was a young child at that time, but I will never forget how much I loved being with her. She was one of a kind, and beautiful and she lit up any room she entered with her humour, her effervescence, her warmth and her kindness. May her memories be a sense of comfort and blessing to you all. Sylvia, Rob and family ❤️
