I have so many things to say to you, about you but I can’t organize my words. I loved and will continue to love you as a brother. If I can be half the person you were, I will have lived a full life. Come waste your time with me. This defined our friendship. Mark. Coming up with the words to encompass your loss has been near impossible. It’s a stark contrast to what life was like with you, and the person that you were. Words always came easy with you. You were effortless to be around, the easiest to talk to. With you, everything was possible and life was limitless. You simultaneously disarmed and warmed people. Your energy knew no bounds. People gravitated toward you. You were the life of the party, and the most giving person. Sharise and family We can't stop thinking about that smile - the one that lit up the sky. The one that made us feel better about every day and every time we saw Mark. I was fortunate enough to coach Mark in hockey and baseball when he was a kid and Sheila was fortunate enough to be around those teams and it didn't seem to matter when either of us ran into Mark - be it at camp, at a ball diamond, in a restaurant, at some social event - there was always that smile, that hug and that warmth. He had that rare gift: He always made you feel better about your day when you saw him. Twenty or more years have passed since our hockey teams and our kids ball teams were on the field - but every time we saw Mark, wherever it was, he made us feel like the most important people in the room. He had that gift. He had that rare quality. There are no words to explain what happened here, no words to express our sadness that can truly comfort anyone. Mark was a rather remarkable young man. We're grateful for the time we had with him. For any of us, especially those closest to him, that wasn't long enough
