Passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Holocaust survivor. Beloved wife of the late Ladislav (Laci). Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Ivan and Sharon, Vierka and Irving, and Evie and Jim. Cherished grandmother (Babka) of Emma, Jordan, Noah and fiancé Hannah. Survived by her sister Eva Ringwald. Predeceased by brother Yoyo Lednar. She will be sadly missed and remembered by all her family and many friends.

Memorial Service Location: Graveside service at Pardes Chaim Cemetery

Burial Service Location: Pardes Chaim Cemetery, 11818 Bathurst St., Vaughan, Beth David section

Shiva Details: 32 Hetherington Cres., Thornhill, L4J 2M2. Shiva visits: Monday immediately after the service till 5 p.m., and 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., 2 to 5 p.m., and 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Evening prayers at 7 p.m. Shiva concludes Sunday morning.

Her generation was one of a kind, and exhibited exceptional strength and resilience after surviving the Holocaust. Most survivors picked up the pieces of their shattered lives and started over (as often as necessary). May it comfort you to know that she witnessed her family grow from babies to adulthood and then to being parents themselves. She must have been so proud of the generation she created and the one that has followed since.
