Maurice Hackner

I was saddened to hear that Maury has passed aw ay. I spoke to him on the telephone on Friday afternoon, in the hospital, and he was bright and cheerful. It was a pleasure to work with him at Westmount Bridge Club,. I extend my sincere condolences to the family, and may the memories of the good times you have had together comfort you now and forever.

We are so sorry for your loss. He lead a very full life and enjoyed a large growing family. He was a remarkable man.

Just a little story about Maurice , I was standing beside this tall and dapper man . He’s patiently his turn to have his picture taken with his Beautiful Grand daughter Becca on her wedding day , he waiting would make little comments on how proud he was of his family….then after positioning and fussing with the dress he comes back to me and says I guess this it what Hollywood feels like with the paparazzi….we had a good laugh ……even though he towered over me he was a kind and gentle giant ….. Biggest hugs to my family !
