RABINOVITCH, Irving Maurice – Peacefully, in Toronto on Thursday, November 11^th, 2021. Maurice Rabinovitch, beloved husband of the late Miriam Rabinovitch. Loving father and father-in-law of Bram and Laura Rabinovitch and the late Rosalie and Paul Dreskin. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Beatrice and the late Sidney Levine, and the late Jerry and the late Ruth Rabinovitch. Cherished Zaidy of Hal and Dori Yesovitch, Shawna Yesovitch, Benjamin Rabinovitch and Kayla and Cameron Regan. Great grandfather to Ethan Bell, Jacob and Sydney Yesovitch, Andrew and Stephen Zarucki and Amelia Regan. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and close friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Jewish National Fund (JNF) 416-638-7200.

When we moved to Aspenwood Drive, Maurice knocked on our door to welcome us to the neighbourhood, and offered his help in any way that he could. That knock on the door started a 37 year friendship that we respected and valued beyond words. Maurice was a gentleman, a caring and helpful soul, who could always be counted upon for shrewd, insightful, sage and practical counsel. And he was a “straight shooter”, always telling it like it is. It is so beautiful to read the kind words of all of those who were touched by my Zaidy Maurice. He made such a huge impact on me, and every one of us in his family. Always a steadfast counsel and a role model for family values. It warms my heart to know that the dedication he had as a human, was felt by the others he invested his passions into over the years. Our family feels this loss, and will honour his memory in our lives each day.
