Max (Motty) Eisenberg

Max (Motty) Eisenberg at 102 years young while at Humber River Hospital.  Dedicated son to the late Sarah and Harry.  Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Lila (the late Carl) and Helene, and to the late Sondra and Louis, Moishe and Irene, and Bella.

Motty was fortunate to have his niece Wendy, her husband Frank and great nephew Harry, who deeply loved him, look after him for so many years.

Loved by his nephews Michael Ruvin and Jeff.

A WWII vet who utilized his fine motor skills of watchmaking to the instrumentation of Avro Lancaster planes. A man of many trades who learned to flip houses, the art of carpentry, commodity trading and being a real estate conveyancer.  If any of us needed something fixed, we called Motty!  A quiet, unassuming man who loved his morning walks and despite all of the health challenges he has faced over the last 5 years, always had a big smile on his face.

Many thanks to the medical professionals who have become a large part of his life since his stroke in 2018.  A special thank you to his loving caregivers Grace, Shiela and Mary, and to the staff of Baycrest Terraces and Humber River Hospital.

Your donations are most appreciated to a charity of your choice or to Humber River Hospital or Jewish War Veterans of Canada.

A real fighter up until the end!
