WAGOWSKY, Max – On Friday, February 8, 2019 at Baycrest. Max Wagowsky, beloved husband of the late Sally. Loving father and father-in-law of Benny in Israel, Rose Grossman and Mark Cohen, Jack and Dalia, and Sam and Bess. Cherished Zaidy of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special thank you to the caregivers, Emelia, Melinda, and Marina. Memorial donations may be made to the Association for Soldiers of Israel at 416-783-3053.

Date of Funeral: Sunday, February 10, 2019

Time of Funeral: 11:30 AM

Memorial Service Location: Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave W, Thornhill, Chapel service.

Burial Service Location: Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park, 6033 Bathurst St., Toronto, Pultusker Society section.

Shiva Details: Friends and family are invited back to 7 Townsgate Drive, Party Room, Thornhill, following the interment only. The remainder of the shiva for the Grossman family will be at 7 Townsgate Drive, #1204, Thornhill, daily from 2-4 pm., until Friday morning February 15th. The Wagowsky family will be sitting at 3560 Bathurst St., Toronto, Apotex 5th Floor recreation room from 7-9 pm. Concludes Friday morning February 15th.

Our condolences on the loss of your father. Your parents were friends with my parents for many years. They ended up living together for years near the promenade. I remember max always being the life of the condo parties. The first one up dancing. A kind gentle man and always with a smile on his face. Remember the happy times, Rosie.

Dear family, I don’t know if you remember me from Crystal Beach. My maiden name was Kaplan. We used to hang out together during our summer visits. My mom became friends with your parents & my grandma & your grandma became climes & enjoyed each other’s company. This was over 50 years ago! My family attended Rose’s wedding. I am so sorry to hear of your dad’’s passing. My mom passed away in ‘95 & my dad in ‘96. I see Ben lives in Israel. My son-in-law has many relatives in Israel. Our first visit there was almost two years ago. We went with our daughter Andrea, her husband Rob & eldest son, Sammie. We attended Rob’s nephew’s bar mitzvah.
