Azar, Mazal, peacefully at her home on Monday, March 7, 2016. Mazal Azar, beloved wife of the late Eddy Azar. Loving mother of Elan, Erez, and the late Oren Azar. Dear mother-in-law of Manon. Cherished grandmother of Eddy, Naomi, Joshua, Michelle, and Gabriel. Funeral services will be held at Steeles Memorial Chapel, 350 Steeles Ave West on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Interment: Pardes Shalom Cemetery, Community Section. Shiva: 228 Glen Shields Ave., Vaughan. Shiva visits following the interment, Friday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday through Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Kol Torah Synagogue, 905-707-9510.

Dear Elan, Erez and families, Our deepest condolences to you upon the passing of your mother. We are sorry that we cannot be there with you during these difficult days. We hope that the love of family and friends from here in Israel and from home will comfort and strengthen you in the days ahead. Your mother, Mazal, was a wonderful aunt and sister-in-law and we love her very much, it is a great loss for everyone. Know that you are in our thoughts, and that you will always have a loving family in Israel. Dear Elan, Erez and Family, It is with sadness that I read of your mother's passing in this morning's Montreal Gazette. We hope that the days ahead will find you surrounded with loved ones and the wonderful memories of your family. I fondly remember our times together as children playing in Chomedey, Laval. Those wonderful summer days will always stay with me. I have been trying to contact you but was not aware that you had moved to Toronto.
