It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mikhail (Moshe) Gelbert on Sunday April 23, 2023, at Princess Margaret Hospital.   Mikhail will be forever remembered by his devoted wife of 52 years, Bella, and his two children and their spouses, Alex (Faina), Irina (Sergei), as well as his grandchildren Nicole, Daniel, Ryan, Sophie, Evan, and Ariella. He is survived by his younger brother Boris.  

Mikhail will be remembered as a loving and kind family man who was known for his big heart and sense of humor. His whole life he was very generous and always happy to host people at his home and feed them with home-made dishes. His greatest pride was his family and watching it grow from the family he and Bella started into the family it is today.
