As your late husband's talmid and mispallel at tLubavich and drildger minyan, I remember so many times that I was at your house, in the early days on Panahill, your chocolate pie, Akiva's feet in plaster, the frikasee and cholent on shabbas and many many times seiing each other. Even when you said that the family thought that you were deteriorating mentally, I said that you were working just fine. I was always so happy to see you as part of my life. TNZBH

Mrs. Drebin ע"ה left a legacy. What affected me most throughout the years is the way we learned to daven. In particular, I still say slichos every year and sing it in Mrs. Drebin's tune. May she be a מליץ יושר for her family, former students, and all of כלל ישראל.

Baruch Dayan Haemet! I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear mother. I met her once. Your father Rav Drebin z”l was my esteemed teacher . He had a special glow around him. Every year my mom would go to parent teacher interviews and she would come out of the meeting crying. Your father spoke so nicely about my sister and I that my mom was so moved. They were tears of joy. We will always remember your father and mother, and the special neshamas that touched our lives forever.

I only met Mrs Drebin one time. It was when I wanted to tell her how she influenced my daughter. My daughter came home from school to tell me how wonderfully Mrs Drebin davened. And my daughter was in awe of her.

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Rebbitzen Millicent Drebin. I carry with me cherished memories from my teenage years of visiting her home to meet with her late husband, Rav Dovid, to listen and to learn. Both the Rav and the Rebbitzen had an immense and lasting impact on me, as they did on so many others, through their warmth, wisdom, and dedication. I will always remember them both fondly and with deep gratitude. May the family be comforted by the many beautiful memories, the extraordinary accomplishments, and the enduring legacy of the Rav and the Rebbitzen. Wishing you only besorot tovot and strength in the days ahead. May her memory be a blessing.
