It is with very heavy hearts we announce the passing of Miriam Rotstein who left to meet her beloved husband, Ben, on July 13, 2021 peacefully surrounded by loved ones.  She leaves behind her two wonderful children , Lee Katan (Avi), David Rotstein (Lisa) and seven grandchildren, Aleece, Zvi, Yael, Rachel, Jessica, Stephanie and Jeremy.  She also leaves behind a loving extended family and close friends including her sister Henia (Ben) and a loving extended family in Canada, USA and in Israel.

Miriam had a heart of gold who was there for everyone at any time. She loved music, her late dog Cody, playing cards, watching the Raptors and always ready for a great laugh with an amazing sense of humour.  She dedicated her life supporting and loving her children and grandchildren.  She loved her extended family and maintained a close connection to Israel where she grew up and met the love of her life before immigrating to Canada, where they had their two children and created a wonderful and loving life. We will miss her incredibly.

The family thanks and appreciates the wonderful support by her doctors and caregivers. They provided a quality of life that she well deserved.
