Message of Condolence

To the Rubenstein family. I was so very saddened to learn of Miriam's petira. She was a sweet lady. We go back a long way, years ago at Shaarei Shomayim, Eitz Chaim parents. She was involved in providing uniforms for the girls. Since I was the mother of a son, I wasn't involved. She was always providing free articles on the Grapevine. We attended a lot of the same programmes and shiurim. Of course she was proud of all of her kids and especially happy when Neshama was married a few years ago. Hamakom Yenachem Etchem Betoch Shaar Avalei Tzion ve Yerushalyim and know no more sorrow. Janice Lebow

Dear Nechama and family, I was so saddened by the tragic besura of your very special mother. I remember how she went to every shiur available and taped it so others could hear it together with the option of lending out her recorder. More recently her name always appeared looking to give away items and helping others who perhaps weren’t as computer savvy. She was so refined, soft-spoken. Nechama, ad maya viesrim, I know how hard it is to lose your precious Mother A”h, you yourself are such a real person, a real friend. Please forgive me that I was travelling and couldn’t be there for you and to give your choshuve Mother the Kovod Acharon she very much deserved. Please know that my heart is with you at this difficult time. May we all be biezras Hashem United soon with the גאולה במהרה בימינו Pamela Katz

Your mother Miriam was a kind, modest woman, who was generous in sharing what she no longer needed with others, rather than tossing what she had. My grandson enjoyed a box of Lego pieces she offered for free and there were books she gave away - in great condition- that are on my book shelf. Her thoughtfulness and consideration was rare in a world where too many are self - absorbed. May we who knew her learn to emulate her. Cheryl Kupfer
