AZZOUZ, Miryam – It is with deep sadness that the family of Miryam Azzouz announces her passing on June 26, 2022 at 78 years of age peacefully with her family by her side. Born in Russia, daughter of the late Chana and Shlomo Vittelson. She was the much-loved older sister of Dov Vittelson and the late Nathan Bartal.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Izak Azzouz. She is survived by her cherished daughter Lea Gerlock, her son Elan Azzouz and her treasured grandsons Zachary Gerlock, Jacob Gerlock, and Jordan Gerlock.
Miri was a strong and determined woman. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, family and playing and watching hockey with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all those who were privileged to have her touch their lives.
The family wants to thank the staff at Mackenzie Health, especially Helen and Carla, for their caring support.
