The Gruda Family: I was so saddened to hear of Moshe's death. He was a lovely man. For many years I saw him and his beloved wife of blessed memory every Shabbat at Beth Emeth and then a number of years ago...I went on to Shaarei Shomayim and then the Village Shul and was always pleased to bump into him and chat at the BAYT on those few occasions I got to Thornhill for a Shabbat or a Yom Tov. He was a dignified and proud Jew and lover of Israel and I am pleased to say that I was happy to have known him and certainly I'm sure his children and grandchildren and great grandchildren will have many wonderful memories of this very fine gentleman and to them all I can only say may you be comforted with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and know no more sorrow. He will always be with you.

To the Gruda Family throughout the world: The Rochwerg family shares your loss of a dear father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was exceptional in a myriad of ways, and all who knew him learned much and were greatly blessed. Our most heartfelt condolences to all those who will miss his guidance. May his soul be at rest with all those whose lives were touched so directly by the Shoah, and may his family know only peace.

We were sad to learn of the death of Moshe Gruda. We recall him and Michael Z"L from Beth Emeth. When he moved & we moved from the Manor we would see him at the BAYT when we visited family in that area. He was a proud & charitable Jew. He was a highly intelligent man with vast life experience & a pleasure to meet. May all the family find comfort in memories of good times shared with him. המקום ינחם אתכם בתוך שאר אבלי ציון וירושלים From Jerusalem-Arthur & Betty Kruger
